it's Spring break! This is actually my first ever Spring break because it was not a thing in Hong Kong/Beijing and it is so exciting that I am in DC with some of my good friends from college. I promise to upload many photos in the coming week to show you guys what we have been up to! For now, I really want to show you guys the blogger I have been following for a while, they are the ones who really inspired me to start blogging! Velvet and I feel terrible for being gone for so long, midterms and travelling have been keeping us very busy, but we promise posts will come regularly after break. So here are the bloggers I personally follow and the reasons why I love them:
Jenny Ong - www.neonblush.com
I discovered neonblush when I started following Jenny Ong on Lookbook.nu, she is gorgeous and along with some other very famous bloggers, is based in LA. I am very jealous that they are wearing shorts and skirts mid-winter in Cali while I am here near Boston and layering like a crazy person. I really love her style because she is the queen of layering but she also can go really simple and look beautiful. Her outfits usually consist of some higher end pieces that I can't afford but she also incorporates more affordable brands like Forever 21, Zara or H&M, which are the places I usually shop at. She just seems to find the best backdrops in LA and have artistic, model-like photos on her blog. I always want to find good places around my college to do photoshoots but it is hard to strive to have a blog like her. She has an addiction to black ankle boots, I confine in that, so that is another reason.

I came across this blog on an app on my iPad called Pose. She caught my eye right away with the refreshing simplicity in her style among many other over-the-top bloggers. She plays with texture and fabrics so well and I especially love her outfit above in all black, she kept it interesting with putting leather, silk, wool and that pattern all together. Her style is an art and she is so tasteful. Celine, Balenciaga, Rag & Bone are her favorites and those are the brands I love as well. Her photos are all simple but textured as well, the things she own is just beautiful.

I started following Sammi on youtube and switched over to her blog. I love her style, she is a little more grungy. I am jealous of the places she gets to shop at in the UK. She is bold with her obsession with black and crosses. She is so funny and nice in videos and she loves showing her daily lives on her blog and vlogs. She shows pictures of her travels and food she made and her decor around her home. She is personable and blogs on fashion and beauty as well. She just talks about a lot of the things I love and I really love following her blog. Check her out!
