       Ah, I finally have the courage to start a blog. To be honest here, Velvet gave me that courage. Velvet is a beautiful and smart girl who glows with confidence.  If you have met her, you would understand what I mean. She is what I have always wished to be, brave and confident. If it wasn't her being unusually enthusiastic about the idea; I mean, she HUGGED me when I told her about starting a blog and no she does not usually do that; I would never actually execute all the ideas floating around in my head. Those days of dreaming to be a blogger and talk about what I love are finally coming true. So V, thank you.

       To me, starting a blog is a place for me to vent. A place for me to talk about things my friends or family might not necessarily understand. But I know whoever reads this blog will get it. You guys will understand that I want this space to be a free medium, where I can post silly pictures, and share outfits I was proud of putting together, or the new make up gadgets I got, things that I am too excited about. This will be a place where I share my crazy college life with you guys, and I hope this will be a place for you guys to get ideas for room decor or outfits, or a place where you guys get to know who I am and what I am passionate about. This all was crazily cheesy but exactly the reason why I started Velvet and Denim with the person closest to me physically right now, Velvet, my roommie. Maybe no one else on campus will understand our determination to look good every single day, me in flats and Velvet in heels, but I am hoping you will. So welcome, welcome to Velvet and Denim, and I sincerely hope this will be the beginning of your journey to find your own style or even just your favorite texture of clothing. I hope you discover something new every time you read one of our blog posts, something new about what's in store, about us, and about yourself. And this is Denim hoping you will understand.
